Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Disclosures (PLEASE READ): Cancellation: We understand that life can be unpredictable, and plans may change. To ensure we can accommodate all our clients effectively, we kindly ask that you cancel or reschedule your home cleaning appointment at least 24 hours in advance. If cancellations are made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee may apply. This policy helps us manage our schedule efficiently and offer timely service to all our valued clients. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Disclosures: To ensure clarity and provide the best possible service, we have outlined a list of important disclosures and disclaimers regarding our cleaning services. These guidelines are designed to set clear expectations and help us deliver a smooth, efficient experience for all our clients. It is required and assumed that you will read and agree to these disclosures prior to booking our services. Please review the following information carefully to understand the scope of our services, as well as any restrictions or requirements that may apply. ​Debris Removal: The home should be free of debris. Light tidying is included, but organizing clutter is at the discretion of the cleaning team lead. Furniture Moving: Our cleaning team does not move large furniture. Adult Presence: For new clients, an adult over the age of 18 must be present during the initial visit. AC Filter Replacement: For members, easy access to the AC unit and the proper filter is required. Housework does not provide filters. Exterior Cleaning: Our cleaning team does not clean outside areas, such as porches or garages. Key Handling: Our team does not hold onto spare keys. If access to your home is needed, please provide a code or leave a key in a lockbox. Service Packages: Housework does not offer a la carte services; all services are performed in packages. High Surfaces: Windows and surfaces above 8 feet are not included. Please inform us of any specific cleaning requests. Bed Making: Our team will make any beds that are unmade or if fresh linens are provided; however, we specialize in home cleaning and maintenance and do not train our staff for certain housekeeper services like bed making. Dishes: Our team will load dishwashers and wash dishes in the sink solely at the discretion of the cleaning team lead.
